A 24-hour delay because of part being unavailable (mechanic’s firm apparently hadn’t checked) was not the best introduction, but I was inclined to forgive this poor overture because of the excellent service of the mechanic himself. He was polite, friendly and helpful - and so far as I’m yet aware, efficient.
