Darren was polite told me what I thought was wrong with the car, it was a wheel bearing. He couldn't work out which side and said he couldn't do the work anyway. I took it to a garage they new which side and done the job, could have saved money and not used Darren

Mechanic was ok.as for knowledgeable not so sure. I had work and mot carried out and 5days later brake wear light comes on resulting in having to have new front brake pads.there was NO mention verbally or written that they were low. I personally would of expected that to have been picked up .

Darren was early which was a bonus, he was well spoken and knowledgable polite. Very pleasant experience. Couldn't fix my car there and then but will tomorrow as we had to wait for a new quote and the parts. They are very reasonable.
I shall be using this service again.

Maybe I got confused, I was taking the call at work... Thought we'd agreed he would diagnose and also fix a suspected misfire. All he did was tell me I had a misfire on cylinder one. £190 and although I have a major service completed, I now have to visit another mechanic to address this issue. Last time (cambelt) you guys were great - this time not.

Car passed MOT, so that's the main thing and Darren was very punctual when picking up the car - would've been useful to get a written breakdown of the MOT and service carried out, but he did tell me the work that needed doing when he returned the car. Normally would expect to get a phone call to see if I wanted the work to be done then.
Overall, happy with the job done.
