Volkswagen Passat Diagnostic Inspection

Very disappointed , The mechanic knew in advance that it was a starter problem due to fuel starvation (we informed you of that in advance) THIS IS A COMMEN PROBLEM . usually a fuel pump failed, or more likely on such an old Passat (2009) Fuel pump RELAY failure. You mechanic confirmed this on his diagnosed visit.
His comments were that he usually carries spare relays as they are cheap and very common to most cars, but he did not have any on the van.
Poor service and planning, from what is a good way to assist motorist that can not get to a garage .

Hi terrance sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the the service I provided , I do carry relays on board the van I did spend ages looking for one I just didn’t have the correct one I also spent over an hour carrying out diagnostic on the vehicle and I spoke to you on phone and advised you of the fault which is what you requested a diagnostic inspection

Diagnostics on my car...had a number of issues but he was great, cleared the system and even though I may still have an issue he did everything he could and explained what the issues could be related to if it comes back again. Couldn't ask for more as he did everything required!
