Nissan Qashqai Identify oil leak ( not driveshaft seal as booked )

Booking was 0800-1000hrs mechanic arrived at just gone 1300hrs. Had calls saying parts issue and then that he had broken his phone. Mechanic was friendly and seemed to be knowledgeable. Didn’t do the work as he stated a misdiagnosis from kwik-fit. But gave us his own opinion as to what needs doing and another quote. We need to get a second opinion as cost for us is higher than expected.

Absolutely apologies for lateness, of course there was a minor issue with part Which took me a few phone calls and some time to arrange, turns out you did not need it and part was not charged for either.
And as for the oil leak - it's guaranteed to cure fault and no additional cost would be incurred if further issues are found
Lastly price is automated through the app and not me .

Kyriacos was a super friendly and funny guy, with a wonderful sense of humour which I could sense during the phone conversation even before I saw him. He arrived to my place 6pm on the dot, even though the slot I booked was between 6 and 8, so I didn't have to wait for him at all.
Straight after he heard what happened to the car, he new straight away what might have been an issue, yet he continued the diagnostics to confirm his suspicion and exclude any other potential problems.
Once he confirmed the issue was the chip from my car key, he was trying to help me find it, even tough he didn't have to do that.
He was very informative throughout his visit, which is not what I've experienced with other mechanics before, who usually keep the knowledge to themselves rather than sharing it and recommending the clients what to do.

Kyriacos was excellent throughout. Great communication, arranging to collect the car was easy to do and I was called twice to be updated on the work needed and the costs involved. Really happy with the work from Kyriacos and would highly recommend him as a mechanic
I’d like to say that my workmanship is second to none and my van carries a extensive range of tools and the latest diagnostic equipment, needless to say that it is a van and there are limitations to what I can carry .
I’d also like to say that you will be happy with any work I carry out , your car will be protected from damage and with time permitting I’ll also wash your car before I leave , ( will need water and power)
