My mechanic that attended was excellent he went over and above to help me out - he was friendly and knew exactly what the problem was and sorted it out for me

Kyriacos carried out replacement of the rocker cover gasket. Friendly approach, explained everything, expectations have been met.

To summarise; many failed appointments which was inconvenient to me and my commitments.
When finally rebooked it was cancelled again as unfortunately the mechanic tools were stolen - waiting all day for the tools to be replaced, thinking it was going to happen.

The mechanic reassured me that any additional work needed that he will stop. He will call me and we can discuss. If I didn’t want to carry on he would put the car back together. Even at his risk/cost.
This wasn’t the case - he advised of a part that was seized. He caught me off-guard and I didn’t get a chance to ask for videos/photos and knee-jerked agreed. I feel I have been text booked scammed !

It was agreed for the work to take place at home. On arrival, he sprung it on me that he will take my car away to do the works at home. It made me uncomfortable as it wasn’t what was discussed and agreed.

Communication has been poor after; no real desire to get back to me promptly.

Have raised with the mechanic and it has been noted the process and repair has not gone smoothly.

I would have been better off going to a car garage and having the works there and then. In front of me. And if there was problem then I could have seen it with my own eyes. In the end, I’ve paid more with this mechanic and had the pleasure of additional stress and inconvenience. Read more

Click Mechanic engineer Kyriacos carried out the replacement of the front drop links on my car as highlighted for the MOT - he provided confirmation of what was done, returned the car and showed me the worn out links and the replacements that were fitted. Great service, highly recommended.
