First of all, apologies for the delay in replying to your feedback as it has taken us some time to get the facts together and as you would appreciate with the Pandemic, everything is moving at a slow pace.

Having investigated your feedback on communication and pricing, below are our findings;

Booking was incorrectly placed by yourself for a standard battery replacement on your car when it needed a stop/start battery. Stop/Start function battery's are considerably more expensive in general. You received a call from our colleague on Sunday 03rd May at around 15:00 hrs a day before the booking to advise you of the error and that there would be a price difference. All prices are readily available through the ClickMechanic webiste so the pricing couldn't be more transparent. All you need to do is log back in and select the part you need replacing and it gives you an instant price, the same way you would have made the booking.

You received a call on the morning of the appointment to advise of you someone being on the way to pick the car up. Upon your request, we accommodated a same day MOT request, your car failed MOT on front wipers, you received a call again advising you of the price for the Bosch wipers plus ClickMechanic commission on the top. You are correct, we did not charge you for fitting the wipers as a courtesy service when this a chargeable work. Your rear wiper was not changed as your car did not fail MOT on the rear wiper neither we can see any requests from yourself to change them. You then received a call again to advise you that the driver is on the way back with your car.

We are sorry you felt prices were expensive but that's how much Bosch wipers and the Stop/Start Battery costs. We are sorry if you felt we could have communicated and been more transparent but the ClickMechanic system is readily available to all customers to check any prices they like and the non standard prices like the wipers were communicated to you at the first instance.
