Audi A4 Avant Alternator belt replacement

Few problems re appointment times, mix up despite trying hard to do job early. Managed to sort it and done very good job. Sanjay owner apologised for mix up and offered us a free interim service, which came from him no asking from us. Nice gesture, will take him up on that and no questions about work, parts and cost. Overall I will use click mechanic again and Sanjay firm. 8/10 overall. Daniel Stourbridge.

Audi A4 Brake discs and pads replacement - rear (both)

I can't value the work as i had breaks and a service done to my car. It was picked up at 9:30 in the morning which was agreed by me with them when they called earlier than the appointment no issue there. However my wife was told that the car would be back for the alloted time 1pm. It wasn't and I had to call to check where it was to update my wife. The car needed additional brake disks doing and I wasn't called until gone 6:30 to say my car was on its way back. Communication was lacking in my opinion for a two hour window it turned out to be a 10 hour one! The cost of the work was decent, they attempted to clean my car inside and out but it actually was a bad job cleaning the outside as there were smudges and dry patches all over inside was done well though.

Firstly I cannot apologise enough for your experience that day. I will actually explain what happened as I need to give you clarity on your review. That day the driver/mechanic that was going to pick your car up had a death in the family, a reserve driver was called in and as it was a busy day I got him to call you at 8.40am to say we were picking the car up earlier than your 11am to 1pm slot. They picked your car up at 9.22am. Before they left the driver looked on the timesheet and saw 11-1pm as the appointment time so told your partner the car would be back between 12-1pm (Unknown to him that this was actually the collection time slot).
The car came to the garage and around 11.30 the service was carried out and the pads were on their way. Had a call from yourself at 1.44pm at which time you were told that we were getting it done and would be with you between 4.30 and 5pm to which you agreed. The pads got changed around 3.40pm after which they started to valet it inside. At 4.05 after taking the car for a test run as it hadn’t been done earlier, the mechanic felt that the pads were rubbing so at 4.11 a call was put into ClickMechanic advising them that we felt the car needed the discs changing as well. At 4.27 ClickMechanic called us and we confirmed the price with no up-sell to you and we’re told to go ahead. At 4.50pm a call was placed with ClickMechanic that the job would take an hour and that the driver would be leaving after 5.30pm. They then set off and it was my call not to finish the washing of the car as it was getting late. The drivers encountered traffic as it was rush hour covering the near 20 mile journey to your residence. I think they arrived at your residence just after 7.15pm. In our opinion and I feel ClickMechanic would take the same stance, it’s better to have got a completely safe car back to you later than anticipated, than to have sent you an unsafe car that maybe not the next day but a few days after when you would see black brake dust on your alloys because the pads are wearing down too quickly as you have badly worn discs.
So again I am sorry. But to summarise we are part of the ClickMechanic network. We have an impeccable record and numerous 5 star reviews and this is the first case of someone complaining about their car not being washed properly. We have found customers come to ClickMechanic because of their fair pricing (as you mentioned) and service, they are not like many of their competitors that say one price and then charge your triple the amount in extras. Nobody made any money on your discs in fact it cost us, but at least I can lay in bed at night knowing that your car although not clean on the outside is as safe as I can guarantee it to be on the road. So as a gesture of goodwill if you are in the walsall area, pop in and we will do a full valet on your car free of charge and again I can only apologise for what happened that day and I hope there’s no hard feelings and that you will use ClickMechanic again in the future.
