Mechanic was very friendly and sounded knowledgeable, however, I did not receive my car back until a week later, and every day was told that it would be dropped off the next day.
I specifically asked if I could get the car dropped to a different location and he said that was fine but then everyday there was a different excuse. He even once asked if I could drop him home after- very unprofessional.
I needed the car for work too, so couldn’t do all the work I needed to for a whole week so was majorly inconvenienced- it should’ve been finished in 1 day not 1 week.
Also I have just found out my car can’t pass it’s MOT based on a number of safety problems.
I should not have got the cam belt and water pump fixed, as the MOT safety repairs far exceed the value of the car, and this mechanic told me that my click mechanic should have probably told me this before I spent £370 getting the cam belt and water pump repaired.

Thanks for the review but first of all when we rang you we was told that the car was at the address but your no longer worked there. And you can’t be there to hand over the keys so we arranged between us to leave the keys in a safe place then you sed the battery is flat and the car does not drive So we had arranged a tow truck to pick up the car for you at no extra cost. Then when we rang you to return the car you then asked us to drop off the car nearly 2 hours away from us. We asked if we are to drop the car back could you be kind enough to drop the driver to the nearest train station. So he could come back. But you told us your going on Holliday and won’t be around. And leave the key with your flat mate ! There for we had to wait for two drivers to be available to drop your car back. And we did tell you the battery is not very good and we are taking a risk to drive the car. In heavy traffic and would be better to leave it for the week end We are sorry to hear the car did not pass the M O T but as you know we only carried the timing belt and water pump replacement under your instructions. If we was asked to look over the car. we would have gladly checked it over for you free of charge. And made you aware of any problem before you carried out the M O T. regards. Read more
