Alternator failure out on the M25, AA escort to destination in East London. Then repair had to be carried out before homeward journey. Found the garage via ClickMechanic's excellent system. Very good communication with the garage who kept me informed of progress. They arranged collection and sourced the right alternator which was then fitted.
Picked up the car then made my way home with no issues or concerns.
Not much else to add, the system worked just as you hoped it would work.

No the is worst now that befor it went in . Engine light is on . The car is running badly . I dont belive u did anything accept changed the oil . I phoned u after 3 days when i didnt hear from u and u said your waiting for a part . Now we both know thats a lie .

We have been keeping you up to date as much as we could. As we explained to you the car is coming up as a manual and not a aoutomatick as you confirmed in your text We contacted the supplier for the parts and was told it will take two working days for the parts to arrive.we waited 2 days before you wanted the gear box service carried out We are moor than happy to provide you with the number to the parts department to confirm the delays of the parts. The engine management light is on due to O2 sensor issues wich we explained to you and even asked if you had a misfire issue. When the car was with us it was running with no issues. We did explain the coil paks could be a problem but unless the misfires it would be pointless to change. We allso changed all the parts you provided in the car. Please do have it checked to see if we changed all parts you requested. Read more
