My appointment was arranged for Wednesday the 11th may from 10am till 12am and the work was to be done at my home. I then got a phone call saying the mechanic had not turned up for work so the garage tob me they would collect the car at their expense which they did. I was then told that another part was required. On thursday I was again told that yet another part was required and it might not get there till Monday. On saturday i was told the car was ready and I could collect it after 3pm. When i got to the garage i was given the keys and that the car was parked on the road almost on a pedestrian crossing.
When I started up the car there was warning message that the suspension was faulty. This message was not showing when I started up the car to get it on the transporter . Also on the floor on paasengers side all the items I had stored in the glove box were scattered around. I cannot see why if you are changing a clutch that you had to empty the glove box . Also why did the person who parked the car did not report the warning message.

thank you for the up date when we rang you we explained it would be difficult to do the job on your drive due to a issue with the mechanic how ever we offered the pick up with a truck free of charge due to the inconvenience
when the gear box was removed i sent you some images to show you the state of the clutch also the fly wheel was in very bad way and suggested to you to replace it which agreed
we also explained to you the bearing was stuck on the shaft from the heat and will need to be removed and adrest correctly
when the gear box was final fitted back and we started to bled the system the master cylinder was not letting the air out and also needed replacing we now believe this may be the main course of the damages done to the fly wheel and bearing
we range you to ask for the locking wheel nut key and was told it in the drivers side in a pocket
we must have been looking for the wheel nut before ringing you and forgot to
place the items back
the light that was on was the service light which could have come on beaus the battery was left disconnected until the job was completed in witch case the light will go of after a little run if not your welcome to pop in or we could pop in v to check with a diagnostics tool
