Paul was fantastic he turned up early asked if he could start and got stuck in straight away. Told me what he was doing and got it done.

I found ClickMechanics to be a very good alternative to the usually pricier "big names". The electronic report was available very quickly after completion of the the mechnic's check. The reason for only 4 stars on communication was that it seemed not possible to contact him on his mobile... But all in all, I am a very satisfied customer.

Paul was certainly friendly and punctual, but when I took the car to a local garage to look at an additional urgent problem, their inspection revealed poor quality work relating to the repair. This included damage to the head gasket and timing chain cover, which had also caused water to leak into the oil. The cylinder head wasn't properly reattached, and there were other bolts that weren't properly tightened. The car has since been bought by the garage and had a new engine fitted, but there continues to be a problem with idling which was not present before Paul worked on the car. The dispute resolution process didn't go anywhere, because I had already authorised a third party to dismantle the engine. I'll just know not to ever use Click Mechanic again, and I will be warning others too. Read more
