I booked a diagnostic inspection related to an engine misfiring problem I had with my car, especially under load. The mechanic arrived, and did what he called a vacuum leak check by spraying a solution around gasket seals and observing changes in engine idle speed as an indicator of a possible leak. His conclusion was there was none. He test drove the vehicle and noted the misfiring. he suggested that I had a weak ignition coil. He did not do any plug-in tests. I asked if he could, and he said he did not have the necessary analysers for it. This meant that he couldn't diagnose electrical problems with the ignition system, which is what I thought I had signed onto. He suggested I go to a Jaguar dealer instead where they would be able to determine the problem. I don't know what I paid for, as it was clear to me that a bad ignition coil (or plug) could have been the problem, but I wanted to know for sure. Fantastic service from James. Despite big issues with parts for the car (not James fault) He went out of his way to get the car fixed, even coming out on a weekend to get it sorted for me. He was really good at keeping me informed throughout the repairs.

James is a lovely guy who helped me install my pioneer double din radio to my mk 5 golf. I highly recommend James as he got the job done in a speedy time with great craftsmanship.

Mechanic was very friendly and seemed very switched on about what he was talking about. However the fault that he identified through the plug in diagnostic was in correct, all the parts have been replaced he said was the issue yet the car will still not run
