Workmanship not satisfactory. Now issues are still unresolved after a very hefty bill for under an hours "work".

Thank you for your feedback. To set the record straight regarding the time spent, I was on-site with your vehicle for well over an hour carrying out the full service procedure, during which you stood with me and witnessed the work firsthand.
As outlined in ClickMechanic’s terms and conditions, a chemical DPF clean is a maintenance treatment designed to help lower soot levels, not a guaranteed, definitive fix for underlying hardware or engine issues. As explained on the day and in our messages, the chemical treatment was added and soot levels dropped enough to clear the light. However, the forced regeneration failed due to pre-existing fault code P253F:00 (Engine Oil Life Exceeded), which is why I specifically advised you that an oil and filter change was urgently needed.
I fully carried out the service requested, but a chemical clean cannot resolve broader mechanical faults or oil degradation issues beyond the scope of the treatment. We wish you the best with your vehicle repairs.
