Came early, took my car, done the work bought the car back with an hour..........easy, perfect

Had a service prior to mot being done and everything was fine apart from needing a suspension coil spring had that done here at this garage only to hear bk saying I need a wishbone brush and bearing as well 100 pounds an wanting cash upfront I told him im only going to go three click mechanic with installment payments we argued back an forth for quite while an even when we agreed to differ he hovered outside where I lived till I payed I found this very intimidating and told him to leave an that I would pay extra when I have discussed the matter further with click mechanic who also told me its against there policy for mechanics to ask for cash upfront and not threw there portal. . needless to say won't be using this service again first time using them and last Read more

I was very upset.

I've had a long term oil leak for 3 yrs. A big job which 40 mechanics have refused. Therefore, I have had to top the oil up every 2 days for those 3 years...
A very well dressed and polite man came to fetch my vehicle, on time. Stated the engine would again need cleaning, I agreed to the £50 asked...
I did speak with their mechanic, it would be expensive which I expected so we decided upon a date so my jeep was brought home for my use inbetween.
On opening the bonnet after he had left to check on the oil level...I was shocked to find the engine cover was missing 😳

I had my timing chain replaced and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Communication was excellent, everything was clearly explained and I was kept updated throughout. The mechanic was friendly and polite. But at some unexplained point my text messages went to a different mechanic not associated with clickmechanic. I was texting the right mechanic that he could pick my car up earlier than agreed if he wanted when I got a reply back saying great I can pick it up the night before. From there on I was texting an unknown mechanic who came and picked up my car. The correct mechanic turned up at the time arranged to no car. After he text me to say he was here l thought I had been scamed and my car stolen. It took a while to find out where my car was and who with. How a crossover of messages happened I have no idea and none given. I got the impression I was not believed. But I was ready to call police and was worried sick until I went back through the texts to see where it changed. And text the second mechanic asking who he was and where based. After a lot of texts through clickmechanic I agreed to pay the original mechanic a cancellation fee even though I did not cancel. The original mechanic B1 motors was very understanding and even said he would not charge the cancellation fee. But it was not his fault and had travelled a long way to pick up my car.
