I didn't actually meet the mechanic because it was a pre-purchase inspection at a garage and I wasn't there. His report was all good. No problems!

Simon carried out a diagnostic test on my Passat, it was so convienent that he could come to me as I didn't want to drive it, for fear of causing more damage to my car. Although I didn't get to meet Simon face to face, he kept me informed with what was going on, he tried to fix the problem but unfortunately the warning lights came back on, so he has advised me on what I could do next which has been a great help. Will definitely use click mechanic again
