The mechanic, Dean, was very helpful. I've asked him to communicate with the seller and to perform the checks on my behalf. The report that Dean provided was thorough and communicated well; I have understood the main issues with the vehicle and how they can be resolved even though I have no prior experience with cars. And finally, the mechanic went an extra mile, offering to provide further advice in the future, if I need it.
This booking has ended up saving me money, as the fixes were payed for by the seller, again, thanks to Dean's advice.
