Couldn’t do job said it was an electrical problem so I’m still in the same situation

Grahame,
This review is really unfair!!!
You booked the wrong job, you booked us to come out and do a DPF Regeneration total cost over £200+, we attended and told you this is not the problem with your vehicle and it would be a waste of money to complete the DPF regen.
So we diagnosed the problem the best a mechanic possible could, as its an electric fault and only charged £34 for the visit and gave you the electrical fault codes so you could go to an Auto electrician specialist who will fix the actual problem with your car. Auto Electrical work is a specialist element of the vehicles and that is why their is specialists out there that deal with this type of repair.
What would you rather we did the actual DPF Regeneration and charge you the full price even though this would not have solved it.
Please do get in touch and let me know how we could have possibly improved our service based on what you booked and what we delivered.
I would also like to remind you, that we are a small family business and reviews like this are damaging to us and do stop us from getting future bookings. So if you do wish to revisit the review i am more than happy to discuss your options with you and give you advise on where you could get the problem solved. thank you
