Ruislip services undertook a clutch repair on my car. They were extremely professional, honest and very kind. They collected my vehicle from home, repaired it and delivered it back to me in around 4.5 hours. Super speedy service, reasonably priced and they also did not try to rip me off as a female driver which unfortunately some unreputable garages do. They even kept me updated about the repair and sent a video which was really useful. Exceptional service from Ruislip services. I was very very pleased and would use them again. Thanks so much guys

booked a pickup / drop off MOT and service for first time to make most use of the convinience - probably never again and will continue to visit my local garage

suggested i need work which i am 100% sure i did not (handbrake adjustment on my automatic - which had brakepads and discs changed 1 week ago and was adjusted perfectly in prep for the MOT!).... i was in a work call and could not openly argue so agreed reluctantly - charged me £120! which is even more than what clickmecanic charges (and assume clickmecanic has its commission!)
i might be paranoid, but filled up the car a day ago and it was a quarter down! where did 15 l of my diesel go?! they are not that far away!!.

Its very sad that you have not been happy with our service.

We clearly sent you a video of the condition of the car.
Sadly A new set of brake pads and discs does not mean that hand brake efficiency would be to the correct level, it actually makes more sense that after the brake replacement, the hand brake should have been adjusted by the mechanic who previously replaced them, as the thickness of brake discs and pads from Old Brake to New Brakes differ, so will the hand brake adjustment differ. So it makes perfect sense. Nevertheless this hand brake is foot operated thus very difficult to adjust which also explains why the other garage could not or did not do it, therefore we had to adjust it multiple times to get the correct adjustment that meets the VOSA requirements in order to safely MOT your vehicle and ensure your safety and others on the road.


Furthermore Brake rollers are directly connected with DVSA and every test is noted by a machine electronically so there is no way you could be asked to do a work that wasn't required. It seems a lack of information from your side.

Also your tyres were worn close to legal limit, which were advisory, you were not forced to replace them, we simply advise them as they were. Again for your own and other road users safety.

You also failed mention the securing of your under mudguards, they were completely unsecure and dangerous, we rectified it for you completely free of charge, clearly showed it to you in a video and yet you have not mentioned that in the review, very unfair.

Regards the fuel: In a Diesel vehicle the oil Temperature and emissions are tested for that purpose the oil had to be in correct temperature which means running the vehicle for a while until its ready to be tested, and as a Diesel driver you are fully aware of how long a Diesel car takes to warm up, furthermore your car was picked up from your house, and dropped back to you at the convenient times you requested. The mileage of your vehicle did not go up at all and you fail to mention that. Plus after a service a vehicle is and has to be test driven in order to ensure its safely done. Its unbelievable that our quality of service has been mistaken for a bar of fuel which could actually have been half way used by yourself before it reduced while providing you an outstanding service. At your door step, while your doing your own work, updated with all the efforts in a clear video.

Your review is very unfair, and due to lack of information about a cars handbrake, diesel emissions test, and DVSA requirements.
Its sad that we operate in the most transparent way by sending videos of work and showing exactly how things are done and yet still get an unfair review.
