Nice enough guy who carried out the requested work however the car is still not working, now flagging up with an ABS fault and isn't the chip on the key as suggested.

All in all I have wasted over £200 for nothing..... Very disapointed

Reply from Rhys:

Hello. Unfortunately the alternator allowed the cars battery to go flat. In turn the car has forgotten the key hence the car will now not start. Alternator fitted fine and I completed the job I was booked for.

Service was carried out as expected, the mechanics were friendly and appeared knowledgable. I wanted to score higher on quality but they didn’t have an official service stamp for my log book and they didn’t reset the service required indicator on the dash. I sent a text asking for them to come and reset this but never got a reply.

Hi Trevor. Let’s try and get those stars back, definitely sent a text back, I’ll check it now.

Quick update, just checked messages. Your message came through at 20.30 and I replied at 20.32

Absolute waste of space, 2 weeks to complete a basic service after incorrectly fitting a fuel filter. Avoid at all costs.

Reply from Rhys:

I cannot stress enough that, initially a filter was fitted that was found to have a hairline gap where the plastic joins the filter housing. This was not fitted incorrectly and was remedied when I fitted a new fuel filter.

MINI Mini Crankshaft pulley replacement

Over charged me for a part that he damaged. I don’t think he realised cctv caught everything and also picked up sound. Bashing the hell out of the part (crank shaft pully), he damaged a perfectly good belt and damaged a slight part of it and stating it needed changing. Stating an extra £16 then find he added £18 ! And also after test driving the car hadn’t put the under tyre flaps back properly so it was rubbing against the tyre. I’ve taken it to a proper garage to sort out and wished I took it there in the first place. I will not be using or advising anyone I know to use this method. Let’s state I wasn’t born yesterday and not a mug you thought I was. I can’t wait to see what your reply to this is! All sound a cameras picked up all Evan your telephone conversation! The only thing I would respect is that you refund your over charge of your error ? Read more

Reply from Rhys:

This is absolute nonsense. Your crank pulley (which you still have) was completely split in two. How the belt was still on there, is anyone’s guess. It was damaged, because your crank pulley was damaged

If you rewatch your CCTV, you will see that the very first thing I do is remove the belt and put it to one side, you can’t remove the pulley with the belt still attached?

Bashing the hell out of it? Have you ever changed one of these yourself? If so, please enlighten me how you are meant to remove a pressed on pulley, where pullers just bend, that’s been on a car for 15 years.

I charged exactly how much the belt cost me, I don’t make a penny on it, I changed it as your belt was clearly damaged by the faulty pulley.
I did state it would cost “around” £16. Once I checked my invoice I saw that it actually cost £18, for my error, I am more than happy to give you the £2 back

Your inner wheel arches were held on with wood screws and cable ties, which I did my best to put back as it was

I don’t treat anyone as a mug, I’m sure everyone else reading this can see the 420 reviews clearly backing this up
