George carried out the work enthusiastically, efficiently and quickly and kept me informed regarding the salient points during the service. I have given 5 stars overall, however the confusion regarding the arrival time was of concern, otherwise George was friendly and polite at all times. I Have road tested my car since and everything appears to be working correctly.

George came out to replace my breaks. He let me know when he was arriving and actually managed to get there early. He replaced the brakes in good time and performed a health check on the rest of the car. Would definatley use this mechanic again.

Disappointed with Service Quality and Lack of Transparency

It was my first time to use ClickMechanic. SAD Technician (NR) have taken up the job for a "Full Service" on my vehicle, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service, which typically involves a thorough inspection and maintenance, was "completed" in under an hour, raising concerns about its thoroughness.

When I checked under the engine cover, I noticed the antifreeze had not been topped up—despite this being an included item in the full-service checklist. This was confirmed later when I received a report stating it wasn’t done because “water in van frozen. ” I was further surprised to find a separate charge quoted for topping up the antifreeze (£15 plus 1-hour labor), even though it should have been part of the initial service.

Due to these issues, I lost trust in SAD’s service quality and chose not to proceed with their quotation. Instead, I took my car to the official dealer, where I received a more comprehensive service: brake discs and pads replacement, brake fluid change, antifreeze top-up (at no extra cost), plus a complimentary car wash and vacuum—at a similar price.

I appreciate efficiency, but thoroughness and transparency are key in car maintenance. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling let down by SAD’s service standards and attention to detail. Read more
