I told the mechanic what was wrong with the car when he arrived it then took him 2 hours to tell me what I told him he then told me he could not do the repairs needed so ended up a complete waist of time and £78 not pleased at all

thank you for the review, your booking is to diagnose inspection not for repair so I found out the ECU not responding or cannot communicate to the Diagnostic tools.

I started checking all the wirings and fuses, but the electric steering pumps is malfunctioning and the wiring harness had faults reading and open circuit to the ECU. if your booking is to repair I could bring spare parts with me and fixed it. my location is a 1-hour drive to your place.

Came a week early to check he was getting the correct part but ended up doing the job same day. So far after a few days, no problems. Did charge me over £100 more than the quote? Why is he called Joanne?

Hello, Sir thank you for your good review, Joanne is my real name Jojo is my nickname.
The starter motor that I'm putting is the Good one that's way is a little bit expensive because I replace the original manufacturer equipment and its better than the cheapest one. And also the location of the starter motor of your car was in the middle of the back of the engine and it's difficult to take it off because of the hose and wire around it and it will take me more time to undo all those and need to be extra careful. That's why it takes me more than two hours.

No! Just took it to my local garage and he has told me the guy that came out has caused more problems by filling fuses with wire and not fixing the problem properly!!!!!!! The brand new battery was totally run out by him trying to start it!!!! got my £83 back but he still asked for £120 cash for an hour and a half of basically messing my car up! Never ever using this service again and will warn my friends and family not to either!

Your car was diagnosed with electrical problems, you have 5 opened fuses due to a polarity issue, by putting the battery into a reverse polarity that's why the relay and fuses were faulty. In the first place, I asked you what happened and you said the car won't start when you changed the battery but you said all lights were on and the dashboard is Okey but your starter doesn't turn. At that time I didn't have the parts available because the booking is to diagnose only and I don't have a clue what parts I need to bring. So I have a part in my car and I used it to work the starter motor and also the fuses of 80 amps 40 amps 30 amps this is not common the fuse will be open circuit as long as you put the battery in correct polarity. When I replaced all the parts the starter motor is turning, but the engine not running because there is another problem maybe the pump or the wiring. I check the pipeline of the injector but no fuel coming out so there's still a problem with the fuel pump but it needs to check. About the money sure you need to pay me for the parts that I'm putting in and I spent the time to travel to get there and your booking is late in the afternoon and I cannot get the parts. Jojo arranged to arrive earlier than expected which suited me , he was very vague about how long it would take even saying it might be the next day till I got car back ! My partner said we need the car back that day, he said it depends on the mot, that didn’t fill us with confidence , we then had to chase him for information about what was happening with the car, he eventually dropped the car off an hour and a half later than he said he would, it mad me nervous and a little stressed if I’m honest, we then discovered that the inspection indication for a service wasn’t switched off so had to message Jojo about this issue , he did however arrive the next day to rectify the issue and was very apologetic about the lack of communication.

Jojo was great. He managed to get out a rather carbon encrusted EGR valve. There was a point at which it didn't look possible but he was never flustered. Put the new one in and the car now runs without that loss of power. Very happy customer. Would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again.
