If you haven't used clickmechanic. Com before, why not? A fast courteous service and so easy to book and pay online. From the very outset all the people I was put in touch with were fabulous. I couldn't have found better service anywhere else. The mechanic that turned up was friendly, courteous and extremely knowledgeable.

After an initial hiccup over the collection time for my vehicle ( arrived too early and I wasn't home from work ) it was quickly resolved and my car was collected within the time frame arranged and taken off to the workshop for an MOT and major service . I received a phone call from Pete in the workshop and he explained the problems found with my car during its MOT test, the reasons it had failed along my options and costs, he was very thorough , very polite and explained things clearly. Once we had agreed to the additional work needed to get the car through its MOT it was carried out quickly and efficiently. When the work had been done I received another phone call from Pete and he arranged for my car to be returned which it was later that evening. Mechanic rang me on his way and asked me if my car was fitted with a cover under my engine I replied yes he replied ooh great just what I need OK I'll be there in 5 min. When he arrived he's told me that a service should not be done on the drive and should have taken it to Halford. He said he was changing the oil oil filter air filter and that was it. I said I was expecting a 43 point vehicle check he said he cannot do that on my drive???. He changed the oil filter oil and airfilter told me my battery was in need of replacing my front and back brake pads were about 25% and 50% that was it and he couldn't reset my service light so another mechanic had to come back on Saturday between 10am and 2pm so had to wait another day. .
The second mechanic arrived the next day to reset my service light very talkative guy and said he was here to reset my service light when he looked at my car he said the first problem was its a German car and that I shouldn't by German after he reset my service light he advised me to keep an eye on it because it will probably come back on again after a few miles as he has nothing but trouble reseting German service lights. I will not be using this company again if the service light does come back on. Read more
