Clearly explained process.

I found out my mechanic was friends with the seller I was buying from so was worried of bias. He started the inspection without me being there and was only there for 45 minutes once I arrived. A couple of major things were missed on the inspection, headlight alignment was well out and drivers wing mirror only worked left and right on adjustment. I was a little upset by this fact as this has all cost me money now. He was a nice lad and seemed to know his stuff, but I can't help thinking he had somewhere more important he wanted to be. Overall I was just satisfied that nothing mechanically was untoward and I suppose that's what is important, although he could of been a little more thorough and taken his time. Absolutely outstanding!!! There aren't enough stars on these reviews. Kalim needs 10 gold stars. He is a miracle worker. My car was a none start and had sat for 3 years. He worked relentlessly on it as he knew it had sentimental value to me. And now it is driving better than when I brought it. Will recommend this site and certainly recommend Kalim to anyone. Kalim arrived well after 11 a.m. (timeslot 8.30 - 10.30) on Thursday morning with a truck to take my vehicle away some 15 miles across city centre. On attempting to start the vehicle it indeed start but I had obviously taken what the AA guy had said, that the clutch had gone but even so I needed to have the car checked over to identify the problem. During Thursday afternoon Kalim phoned he phoned to say that he would like to keep it overnight which was ok with me. On Friday 1 pm as I hadn't heard from him I phoned him to see what the situation was. Kakim said that he had identified the apparent problem and if I didn't need it could he bring it back later in the day and that also was OK. He arrived at around 6.30 pm having taken him an hours travelling, he told me what he had done and having driven it round the block and a few local trips today it seems ok. So far, so good!
Obviously the AA reported problem clutch was not the problem and the actual problem needed to be diagnosed which they seem to have done. However, your quoted price was £238 and I have now paid £349 for which I would appreciate some sort of qualification and reconciliation between the two figures and your assurance that this doesn't include travelling time.
In the first instance I do think that some assessment of the area geographics by ClickMechanic should be made before allocation even if it means that you might not be able to comply with a clients requests.
Please investigate and advise according.

I would use ClickMechanic again and Kalim if he was more local but in view of my experience and outcome I wouldn't feel altogether happy to recommend friends.
