Clearly explained process.

I found out my mechanic was friends with the seller I was buying from so was worried of bias. He started the inspection without me being there and was only there for 45 minutes once I arrived. A couple of major things were missed on the inspection, headlight alignment was well out and drivers wing mirror only worked left and right on adjustment. I was a little upset by this fact as this has all cost me money now. He was a nice lad and seemed to know his stuff, but I can't help thinking he had somewhere more important he wanted to be. Overall I was just satisfied that nothing mechanically was untoward and I suppose that's what is important, although he could of been a little more thorough and taken his time.
