Jaguar XF Diagnostic Inspection

Guys were really courteous and thoughtful and performed the system diagnostics on my XF really efficiently. However although havin a lot of diagnostics kit, they did not have the 'magic' IT tool to pair the key with the car, which was the original problem. So yes, they told me there was nothing wrong with the car, but could not fix the original problem, which I find surprising and disappointing, as this must be happening all the time?

Hey Russ!
This was a booking for a diagnosis not a repair, the diagnosis found was the vehicle key has dropped it's code from the imobilser when the vehicle battery was changed over. This was verified on a Launch x431pro where I used it as a middle communication between both key and imobilser.

Citroen DS3 Car Leaking Outside Inspection

no work was carried out apart from a ridiculous charge for quick look to my car.
A lot of made up issues have been reported by the mechanic which didn't convince me so I personally inspected the car after he left only to find out that the only real problem was a pipe leaking coolant that I mentioned when I wasted my money booking for this useless service.

When arriving at this job we was booked for a coolant leak diagnosic, on the diagnosis we identified the primary issue to be the coolant housing above the gearbox on the side of the engine leaking down. While also looking at the vehicle we found that the coolant tank return line was snapped, ziptied, glued and expanded foamed back together leaving residue all over the engine and pipes. We found that the clutch slave was leaking and a universal slave boot was put over the top. pictures of all problems identified was shown in person to customers wife and also sent directly via messenger. Customer first claimed we never turnt up 4 hours after the booking. Which was disproven from the photos I taken with the metadata on. And then 3 hours after that claimed he cannot find any of the problems we took pictures of, so I sent him them again. And has now after this left this review Read more
