The mechanic was friendly and helpful. The starter motor was only fitted after other faults were ruled out. The new rear discs and pads were fitted and the car, a Volvo V70 D5 Diesel, was delivered back gleaming having been cleaned. We are very happy with the work carried out.

He gave me my invose and keys seemed friendly I asked has the noise stopped? he said he heard nothing driving it. Back he was gone quickly The problems with my car is still there so no I’m back to square one

Hi Lorraine,
I’m sorry to hear that you still have a squealing noise.
Unfortunately you didn’t instruct us to carry out any diagnostic work as you had one of your friends carry out the diagnostic works at another garage.
Further to that being done, you requested us to replace your rear brakes and replace a sensor which we have completed to satisfactory standard.
We road tested the vehicle before handing over your vehicle and our technician was happy with the work and signed the vehicle off.
We have since spoken with you on the phone, where you informed us that you still had a noise coming from somewhere on the car.
I offered to come and collect the vehicle to carry out further investigation and diagnostics but you wanted to get your friend to carry out the diagnostic work rather than pay ClickMechanic any further money.
I did ask you to call me to advise of his findings, but to date haven’t had any contact from you.
We are more than happy to carry out further investigation into the on going problem with your vehicle. Please do contact us if we can be of any further assistance.
