After leaving the army I then went to the City College in Birmingham - where I undertook my city and guilds level 1, 2, 3 and 4. Following undertaking all my formal qualifications I then went onto work for Marshalls Peugeot and then moved onto work for Land Rover in the same group. I worked here until 2010 and then went full time on my mobile mechanic business. I have now built the business up to have 3 repair vans and we are expanding all the time.

I’m very unhappy with the service your mechanic provided, first of all I received an email saying that a mechanic called Kevin would be doing the work but he had sent another mechanic (Dan) to have a look at my car. Secondly he did not come on the day it was arranged for (Friday) he did contact me to say that he couldn’t make it so we rearranged for him to come on Sunday at 12. When 1pm rolled around I called Kevin to see what was going on but he didn’t answer so I tried contacting Dan he told me he had been delayed again and would get to me as soon as possible! He finally got to me at 4:30 by this time it was dark and so it was very difficult to see what was going on with his little torch!! He then told me that I would need to replace a couple of hoses and if he had known he would have brought them with him, even though I’d stated that the hoses where perished on you’re booking form but he had not been given this information! The total diagnostic visit lasted no more than 10min. He also arrived in an old escort with another guy asleep in the passenger seat, he also couldn’t tell me what the hoses where but he did say that when he got the diagram up he would be able to figure it out! This did not fill me with confidence that he knew what he was doing or that he would be able to fix the issue, I have then received a quote for replacing the hoses for £150 in parts and 2.5hour labour total £290! This seems more than a bit excessive for parts considering its only two hoses that need replacing.
So far I have been charged £50.40 for this comprehensive service that I want back as I feel that I could have got a better service from the local MacDonald’s than the one you’re approved mechanic provided!

Turned up nearly an hour late. Very scruffy and covered in oil. Service was completed within an hour. Managed to spill the oil change over driveway when trying to decant to drum.
No use of gloves so oil transfer on paint work and inner door of car. Oil service light has not been reset.
I was told my tyres were fine. Only to find when I went to get a slow puncture looked at today that the inner wall was cracked and the tyre needed immediate replacement.
Parts may well have been replaced, but no road test completed or report given with regards to any issues given to me.
