Was a bit unsure to start with as never used any thing like this before always used a garage but an appointment was made for between 8-10 on a day that was good for us and brett was here for 8.10 so that was a good start he was really quick took him 20 mins to change brakes when a garage had said it would be 2hrs so well impressed although slightly more expensive than a garage the fact that you haven't the inconvenience of taking car down to a garage and having to wait around .will definitely consider using ClickMechanic again

Mechanic arrived on time but did not bring everything he needed, his mate had to go back to base for equipment, mechanic very apologetic .

Thank you for the review firstly the mechanic i sent out was level 3 trained unfortunately when removing the diesel filter he did spill some diesel this was an accident but at the sometime a common occurrence in an ideal situation it should have been serviced in a workshop but nether the less due to them trying to clean up the diesel spillage this allowed the fuel in the feed pipe to run back to the tank my mechanic tried his best to get the vehicle restarted but he was more worried about damaging the starter motor and flattening your battery i decided the best course of action was to bring hand pump to bleed the fuel lines my mechanic also informed me that you wanted to book a terra clean on your engine also so i brought out the machine and proceeded to do this for you when you wanted to pay the £108 cost of the terra clean i refused to take payment as way of compensation for the time it had taken to service your car also for the diesel spillage when the car was finished and running correctly i did personally ask you to take the car for a drive while i cleaned your drive but you said don't worry about it its not a problem i feel very disappointed that you know feel it is .

Brett was very friendly and knew his stuff, but because of the nature of the problem, (steering lock module failure on a Renault Grand Espace), wasn't able to fix the breakdown, and was only able to confirm the fault and recommend I took the vehicle to a Renault dealer's workshop to get it rectified.
