Person on the phone was friendly but the work carried out/not carried out was very poor. Waiting a full day for a recovery vehicle and then to be told the next morning at 10:50am that the works started then I ring at 4pm and the work actually hadn’t been started yet. The part they ‘replaced’ looks old and doesn’t even look like it’s been changed. The new jobs they found needed doing are questionable aswell. Looks as if they weren’t even touched. They’ve cleared faults from my engine and then they’ve tripped again. They let me leave the garage knowing my car would have the same problems and this problem happened whilst I was on the motorway. We do have the invoice and the old part my friend. My worries be if you looked at the throttle not the egr as egr located in the back of the engine and not visible fir your eyes to see.
The second thing we been told that the exhaust temperature sensor is faulty and its circuit.
Whoever done the diagnostic for you originally done it wrong.
We got the job as egr valve and glow plugs and it's done from our side plus we did a free diagnostic for you.

I was nervous about booking with a mechanic I didn't know, and about having my car collected and dropped off in time. I needn't have worried, as having explained that I would need the car back the same day, the garage completed the work in good time and returned the car as requested. When I phoned them for an update they were very clear with the work they were doing and when I could expect to receive the car back.
