Absolutely waste of time confirmation call then didn't turn up after taking the day off work and then took £40 cancellation fee , rip off money making scheme designed to rinse you of money

The work seems fine

First time using click mechanic, it drew me in by how affordable the services were. However, I was dissapointed with how I could not select the mechanic of my choice, rather it chose whichever mechanic accepted the job first.

So that led to Quick Stop Autocentre accepting my job. Booked in for collection at like 11am-12pm. They arrived 30 mins late (does not bother me). However, for those who like punctual individuals, they aren't the people. They came to collect my car from my house, I asked how long will the job take, the staff member stated that they didn't know as they're just the driver and not the mechanic, but estimated it would probably take 1 day ( I assumed I would get the car back by the end of the day).

Day goes by, I decide to give them a call at 6PM see how they are doing with the car and when I will likely be getting it back. No answer. I assumed they were busy. So i gave it another hour, called again, no answer. By 10pm, I tried one more time, and you guessed it, no answer. So by this point I was annoyed because I have entrused these people with my car and they had no decency to contact me back to even provide an update.

12pm the next day, I get a call. They say they're outside with the car. Received a small brief description about why it took over a day. The mechanic stated that they took longer than usual because they had to align the wheels back again after the job (this is important for the next part). I was just glad i got my car back.

Upon inspection of the actual job, it seemed pretty good, suspenion arms and drop link replaced. However, upon inspecting the interior of my car, there was cigarette ash all over my carpets and inside my cup holders. I don't smoke but from previous reviews on clickmechanic, other customers have mentioned the same thing about the cigarette ash in the car after the job, so I kinda was expecting this as the worst case scenario.

Now having drove the car for a good week and a bit, I felt that it didn't drive the same as before. I doubt it could have been the new parts, because new parts right. And then, I noticed my steering wheel was always off centre to the left when trying to keep the car straight.... so yeah, they didn't align the wheels after doing the job and now I have to go and pay for a hunter wheel alignment.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend these guys whatsoever. Probably the last time I will be using clickmechanic as well. Read more

Yes work carried out quickly and efficiently and was available every time i called for advice.

They fixed the original fault but after drop off I had some sensor issues. They booked me back in and went above and beyond to get the issues sorted.

Absolutely disappointed. I report that I need towing. Tey sent to guys with tesco bag and they try to drive my car to garage make more damage on my car engine is sized and won't start probably from replace vaccum oil pump I need replace all engine. I discuss now this with solicitors how to resolve this issue and this will finish in court. Beware this website are hearing dodgy people and charge for nothing .... totally waste of money and time also they damage my 2015 mazda 6 that I can scrap it because engine is for replace .......

Very happy with the work.I booked in and there is somewhere clean to wait.
It was a simple job but they did it in 10 minutes.

It wasn’t made clear my car would be kept for 2 days and it was difficult getting in touch with the garage but Amir rang and explained what was happening with my car and kept me informed from there on. Work was carried out and all seems good 👍🏻

Had to take another day off due to reschedule of appointment but turned up next day job done. Will use this service again .
