Fiat Panda Gear Selector And Transmission Inspection

This is the second time James has inspected this car, the first time he suggested a change of gearbox lubricant, this time he says its the gearbox management system and that I should only use manual mode. This is unacceptable - I didn't buy an automatic car to drive it in manual mode.

When I first came out to your car it was under warranty from the sales garage and I recommend you took the car back for a full refund.however I did see the oil was dirty and recommended that simply changing that may help it.how ever it had been converted to be towed behind a motor home and that isn't good,It has beendragged behind a motorhome with no engine running yet the gearbox being driven with no oil pressure .So their was a slim chance the oil change may work but not promised it would solve the issue.
I'm afraid the situation is still the same and you should have taken the car back for a refund.
The fault only appears to happen when it's in auto mode.so driving it in manual really is the only option,Otherwise is a new gear box and that is more then the car is worth
Even the main fiat dealership told you that they didn't want to repair it.I just simply stated the facts to you,and I realise that this news isn't the news you wanted to hear.It really is a shame you didn't return the car when you the chance to and get a refund
