Did the work but caused a myriad of other problems. Struggles with timescales and unable to perform a 3hr job in 13hrs and blamed me for rushing him. Whilst he satisfactorily replaced the oil cooler and coolant tank unfortunately he caused damage to my vehicle, upholstery and unnecessary stress to me. Mechanic shouldn’t have accepted a job he couldn’t do or felt confident doing. During the initial phone call to arrange collection of my vehicle his first words to me were that it wasn’t enough money to do the job and he accepted the job without reading it. I had to rescue him at the side of the road as he also flattened the battery after damaging the interior lighting controls and admitted to me he had hit them and then managed to blow a 225A alternator fuse by incorrectly jump starting my vehicle and consequently damaged other components electrically that were otherwise working fine. Whilst driving the vehicle home the dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree. He attempted to charge me for an additional 90 minutes labour but I refused as he had the vehicle long enough. He left the old oil cooler in the front of the vehicle leaking oil over the bespoke embroidered carpeting. He tried to clean the oil off but did an unsatisfactory job doing so and I had to throw the carpet away. I strongly recommend avoiding.
Cost of repair: £300
Cost of damage: Alternator fuse £16, Carpet £50, Courtesy light control panel £35, Electric sliding door - TBD.
Mechanic attempted to clean carpet and gave £50 refund. Hopefully he will learn from his failure on this occasion. I wanted to give the mechanic the opportunity to resolve the issues but ultimately after witnessing his conduct I lost confidence in him and settled for the refund and offer to clean the carpet(professionally). Not a pleasant experience (unfortunately my first experience using click mechanic) and definitely feel burned by it. Read more

Great service. Turned up when expected and called in advance to say they were arriving. Work was done to high standard with no further problems. Only gripe during the whole thing was that the original driver had to leave due to an emergency, so I got my car back a couple of hours later than expected. I’m still giving 5 stars for punctuality though, because I was informed in plenty of time and it was out of their hands.

I had booked a slot between 8-10 am, they picked my car up at 9 not a problem, I’d already taken the morning off work, I asked roughly what time the car would get back and was told early afternoon, so I had to call my work and take the afternoon off also!

I had to call the garage to ask where my car was on numerous occasions, to be told he’ll ask the driver to ‘put his foot down’, um not in my car thank you very much!! I didn’t get it back until 19:45! Had I of known it would take this long I would have used a local garage and just paid the extra £20 more they quoted for the service! Will not use again!.
