Came on time and completed diagnostic test quickly. Appeared friendly and knowledgeable. Advised that it was a switch and that garage would ring with a price and he could return and fix on drive.
Havent heard anything (came out 2 days ago) have tried to ring garage but no one answers. Been on their own website and typed in my reg to book in and websites states that they dont work on my vehicle. The receipt had also advised that they can not this repair. Annoyed as likely any other garage will charge for another diagnostic test before completing the work needed.

Apologies, just checked and the follow on quote wasn't sent so thats on me, ive now done that, the oil pressure switch needs to be replaced, the website wouldn't show this as its a specific job but rest assured we can carry this out, please check your CM app and you'll find your follow on quote to complete this repair.

Yes, I requested a diagnosis and that is what I recieved. It allowed me to arrange for a in depth examination and ultimately repair at my specialist garage. It also allows me to make a decision, if I could drive it to the repairer or have it delivered.

Appointment booked for 1-3pm but arrived at 4:15, only called to let me know after I complained. Was here for 10 minutes to diagnose the problem so I think £60 is well over priced. Said they would quote me for the work needed but did not bother. It says the quote for the work following a diagnostic is included. I did see a review from someone else saying the same thing. I have found another mechanic new who will complete the work for a new wet belt.

Unfortunately for a very busy garage were human, we endeavour to prioritise every customer as 1st in line, as much as we do try we dont hide behind the massive amount of positive reviews, we welcome negative reviews as it shows customers were human and sometimes get it wrong, we've spent 2 decades in the industry and we completed the follow on quote after you reminded us, I do feel a negative review was unfair for a genuine mistake however your free to do what you feel is needed, your comment regards the amount Unfortunately is dictated by the platform so again, unfair but hey, future customers will see I've replied, they'll understand that we do get it wrong, and also we dont set the fees, but before you do comment on fees please understand, fuel, labour, a £3500 diagnostic tool, and 23 years of experience isn't cheap, im sorry you didnt get a 100% perfect experience and ill take on board your comments and filter it on, I do however hope you got sorted from another garage.

Thomas got there on time and told us what was wrong with the vehicle straight away. He said he’d call me back later with the quote but I never heard back from him. It’s been over 2 days and the garage hasn’t contacted me and when I called on numerous occasions, no one picked up the phone or bothered to call back. Not happy as the whole reason I spent £60 on the diagnosis was to ensure we get the right thing fixed and get a reasonable quote which we didn’t get disappointingly and it was stated that the quote was a part of the service.
