Very happy with the mechanic arrived in allotted time and returned after mot completed.

Miguel was friendly and his communications were mostly prompt. However, he did arrive 90 minutes late which did cause some inconvenience. The work on my car was carried out promptly and as far as I can tell satisfactory (I'm no car expert). When I went to get in my car after the work had been carried out my back seat was covered in dirty motor parts from another car. This is unacceptable. Even if car parts were to be stored in my car, which they shouldn't be, you would expect some sort of sheet to be put down to protect the seating.
I also had a few other niggles. The garage is in Grays. What happens is Miguel picks up the car from home and takes it to the garage. Therefore, if you live the other side of the bridge you will receive a dart charge both ways. I also asked for my service book to be stamped (I'm old fashioned like that) but it wasn't and my MOT certificate was not signed, but I have checked the Government website and all OK.
Overall I didn't have the best of experiences, but that's not to say you shouldn't use Miguel, I think I was just unfortunate. Also the price I paid for the service and MOT was very good compared to other garages. Read more

Miguel done a great job, the car was in for a service and MOT and failed the MOT. He was able to repair the car re test and return on the same day.

Would highly recommend German Motorhouse. Found the fault within half hour of having the car and was able to repair it by the next day. Will definitely be using them in the future.

When the guy collected the car he said it would be back at approx 3pm. At 3.40 it wasn't back, I tried to ring the number on Click mechanic for Miguel but it kept going to voicemail, so I messaged him via the site. To be fair he did then call me quickly, and when we spoke he was very nice. He said my car was still to be started on the service and MOT, even tho it was collected at 9.40. I asked him when it would be back and he said 5.30. At 5.30 the car wasn't back, so I contacted him again and he said it would be back at 6.45 at the latest as we were going out. The car apparently needed a new cv boot which was done, but I did not get a receipt for this and it was not indicated on the service report.
