Fiat Grande Punto Replace alternator and belt

Friendly? Yes. Knowledgeable? To a point. The work(replacing a seized alternator and belt)was carried out ok.
Then the problem started. A battery warning light was showing. After a number of failed attempts to correct this fault I was informed that this was an electrical fault and I would need to make my own arrangements to have this corrected as he ‘doesn’t do electrics.’ This I consider to be bad service as even if he was unable to correct the fault himself he should have been prepared to arrange for an electrician.
Yes, Sam is polite and friendly but without service go back it up this is not enough.
Beware, if you have a problem make sure it doesn’t involve anything electrical otherwise you are on your own.

Hi as discussed on the phone our job was to come out and diagnose a fault with the battery not taking charge and battery light on we diagnosed a a seized alternator which had snapped the belt as it got hot spinning on the other pulleys and it's rubber upon diagnosing was advised to go ahead With the replacement work which was carried out after complete car was tested and all fine when dropped back car was fine alternator shows the voltage at 14.40 which is perfect showed customer and happy we went out of our way 3 0r 4 times to come over as you said light had came up every time we came no light up and alternator charging fine still had a drive still fine so we advised may be a electrical issue but as to the job we done nothing more we could do if everything was fine and no light when we came so maybe another fault elsewhere .
