The fault was never diagnosed.
I was advised to buy a new battery which did not fix the problem.

Thank you for your feedback Stuart.
At the time of inspection, the vehicle indicated low system voltage along with multiple historical communication faults, both of which are known to cause intermittent warning chimes and electrical faults on this model. Photos of the diagnostic scan results indicating these faults were also attached to the report provided.
Based on the symptoms and diagnostic data available during the visit, a battery/voltage issue was reasonably identified as a potential contributing factor rather than a guaranteed sole repair & a first step was to stabilise voltage, which was explained at the time.
We also advised that a latch/switch-related fault remained another possible cause.
The battery replacement was later carried out independently & not by ourselves following our recommendation of replacement, meaning we were unable to reassess the vehicle afterwards or continue diagnosis under the new conditions post battery replacement.
All advice provided was based on the live symptoms and diagnostic information present during inspection and was given professionally and in good faith.
