John A
I began my career with Ford and it is here where I completed my apprenticeship and worked with Ford for around 8 years. I worked for a used van centre repairing the vehicles for the business before setting up on my own. It was in 2013 when I officially set-up on my own business called JEA Mobile Mechanics. The business has developed well since it's inception and I cater for all makes and models of vehicle & tackle all repairs.

The mechanic was very thorough in finding the fault with the car. Also as I was not home called me to explain what he had checked and what he believed to be the problem in very clear terms, not mechanical jargon. Came back with a quote for the work very quickly and completed the job within the week. Very satisfied. Will definitely use again and recommend.

Ford Focus Called out to replace both rear wheel bearings after checks removed both rear wheels found rear wheel bearings ok but actually noise was being generated from the tyres Customer needs both rear tyres replaced as tyres are out of shape

The job was to replace suspected worn rear wheel bearings in order to eliminate loud road noise when driving. The mechanic removed one wheel and said that by inspection the bearings were not worn but that the cause was due to distorted tyres. He said the rear tyre surfaces were like a 50p piece - not smooth running and this would be the cause of the loud road noise. He did not replace the bearings but suggested I replace the budget tyres with branded tyres. FolIowing this advice I have since had fitted two new Dunlop tyres but this has made no difference at all - the noise is still loud as ever. Very disappointed. Read more
