I WOULDN'T USE CLICKMECHANIC AGAIN

2nd time using Clickmechanic ... first time May 2017 MOT went fine ... this time, I booked a full service £189 and then upgraded it to a Major service as the invoice sent to me didn't mention in the parts anything of a fuel filter. So I telephoned Clickmechanic and advised them that I needed a FUEL filter not a pollen filter.... mechanic was suppose to arrive at 10am to 12 midday ... telephoned to say running late as one of my filters were wrong and needed to wait to get right one... when that new time if arrival past at 2pm he finally arrived at 3.30pm ... today . .. firstly I was shocked by the fact that Clickmechanic advertise a major service but the engine oil was not from brand new plastic 4-5 litre bottles but a drum of oil poured into a jug .... when I saw the oil I was shocked.... it looked old ... ie cleaned oil... with fuzzy bits floating at top and dark blacker oil at the bottom .... I was not happy with this but just wanted job done ... then he tells me there is no fuel filter .... really annoyed ... and now after complaining I need wait a week to have fuel filter fitted .... so more of my time being wasted .... as for 44 point check ... I didn't see none of the 44 checks done ... I saw no top up of break or power steering oil ... no test of transmission oil level ... no lights or locks or many other test done .... in fact all that was done of note was highlight right front tyre may need replacing soon ....

Fortunately I have cameras outside house so much of this is on camera .... I feel ripped off. I could have paid local garage £140-150 for same service .... using oil from a shop in plastic bottle sealed as new oil... and air, oil and fuel filter but opted for this £210 discounted from near £300 Main service as thought getting top service .... instead invoices have gone from £199.98 with 5% further discount back to £208 and having to waste time calling them to ask why if their price is £210 with 5% discount why am I seeing £208.... again they reduce it not to £199.98 but to £200.34p... so paying £200 for old looking oil .... half work done .... because admin couldn't ensure booking had fuel filter assigned .... leaves me feeling ripped off.... no I wouldn't use this service again and instead lesson learnt.
