BMW 1 Series Car Won't Start Inspection

Robert was great and diagnosed a difficult-to-spot battery problem, even taking his own battery out of his truck to fit into my vehicle which then started up the first time. My new battery is on order!
I was overthinking it and had convinced myself that I had an expensive BMW diesel electronics failure. Robert went straight to the problem and proved it was a simple fix. I am an experienced classic car fixer and enjoyed the way that Robert and I worked together to get a solution. If anything else needs fixing on by BMW 118D needs then I will be asking Click Mechanic to send Robert again. Happy Customer here!.

Robert was condescending, spoke to me like I was an imbecile. Kept repeating that the engine was beyond repair. I understand that, but the @£74 that I paid was a lot of money for a man who just stood and repeated himself. He listened to the engine when I started it but made no effort to properly assess the issue nor offer to take it into a garage for a proper assessment. Not a good advert for click mechanic I'm afraid. He'd actually put me off using you if I hadn't had previous excellent service from other mechanics.

Sorry that you was not happy with my conclusion ,but being a mechanic for 35 years I can clearly tell from the noise of the engine it was going to be a uneconomicable to repair engine, the last thing I would want to do is incur more costs recovering to my garage knowing full well there's nothing that can be done apart from fit a new engine .
Customer must realize that although may only of been on site 15 mins there is travelling to and from customers address to take into account .
Once again sorry you wasn't happy with my service, but attitude works both ways
