I paid £172 for a Premium Pre Inspection. I wish I hadn't STAY CLEAR. I did not get the mechanic I booked, I booked Christian, and a 'Marius' did the inspection. I don't know who he was or even if he was qualified. He was friendly enough on the call though quite difficult to understand as he was a non-native English speaker. He told me it was a good car and I should have no worries about buying it. But I was not confident in him, I was worried, so I got a VW specialist to do a test drive, with the seller - and.....the engine imploded, new engine required. I have tried to get a refund as i did not get the mechanic I have a contract with through click mechanic, and the mechanic I did get did not spot the issue with the engine, even though I specifically requested focus on the the engine up front and the mechanic confirmed 'yes no problem'. I did not get what I paid for, and I have raised this through click mechanic who were quick to point out they only connect me to the mechanic and it is up to the mechanic, over a week ago both click-mechanic and the mechanic said they would get back to me and silence since. Im very happy with the Pre purchase inspection report Cristian did for me.

Just the communication wasn’t the greatest as I tried to call and text but only received a reply after the service was completed.

I have just took delivery of a used car and wanted a major service carrying out to ensure the car was going to be reliable for the winter. The mechanic came to my home and was a really nice guy he serviced the car and checked to make sure it was going to be safe he was helpful and reassuring and I would have no hesitation in recommending him. The cost of the service with Click-mechanic was cheaper than I was expecting and I could just go on with my day whilst he worked. Absolutely wonderful service.
