Great to deal with. Friendly service and have done an excellent job. Bit slow in communication in the first place but then information was great.

They are good and happy for the service. Although, the glow plugs successfully installed but the issue of my car is not yet fix, poor starting the engine during morning or idle in long hours.

He was really friendly however I’ve had some issues with the service

My slot was booked 8-10am, the car wasn’t collected until 12pm, it was supposed to be a 3-4 hour job, I didn’t get it back until after 11am the next day and my family ended up having to pay through the nose for a last minute airport taxi

I specifically asked the service be done first and any potential MOT issues be flagged over a phone call so I could rectify myself as I had another month left on the MOT, I then received a call saying it could cost upwards of £400 for new tyres as it failed the MOT because that was done first.
I ended up paying £250 for part worn tyres which is the price I would’ve got 4 new ones.

Then upon the car being dropped back off I was charged an additional £50 for a quarter tank of adblue (£10 from Halfords)
There is a service light on that says it is 25,500 miles overdue a service and their response was “you’ll have to take it to Mercedes to get it turned off (another £120 from Mercedes to sort)

My car has gone from averaging 50-58mpg on my commute to and from work to not even getting 40 as a max (I’ve not changed the way I drive or my route at all)

All in all not happy with the service I’ve received, the only positive was the communication I got - I was called to be informed he wouldn’t be collecting til late, called to be told they MOTd it first so it failed and called with a price for new tyres

Hi this is jay from AVS the reason for the vehicle being late back was because the vehicle was dangerous to drive because off the tyres which is what I explained to the gentleman when I dropped off the car
