Highly recommended mechanic - Shaun. We took our mini to 2 different garages, one in Deal and one in Dover and neither could identify the problem. One told us £3000 and another replaced spark plugs that were done a year ago and charged us £350 and when I got home problem was still there. We were advised by both mechanics to go to mini who quoted £350 just for diagnostics and a 2 week wait. This guy worked out issue after 45 mins and told us we shouldn’t have been driving it coz if timing chain (which was problem) snapped it would have seized up the engine. Shaun then organised for car to be taken away to be sorted all at trade cost so we didn’t need to drive it. He was helpful and really went the extra mile. We paid £53 to call Shaun out for the diagnostics (45mins) and he was with us for about 2 hours and didn’t change for extra time. He then organised 2 quotes, both very reasonable and at no inconvenience to us especially considering the car could not be driven. I highly recommend Shaun. Read more
