Peugeot 307 Tested starter motor and wiring, all fine. Problem was probably caused by the steering lock.

I didn't remove anything from the customers vehicle to access the starter motor wiring. If anything has fallen off it's nothing to do with anything I have done.

John was very friendly and did a thorough inspection of the car. He did a great job and even if he couldn't identify the source of one particular noise he isolated the problem as non-engine related and reported all clearly.
