He was very thorough has diagnosed the problem and we have booked via your site for the repair

1. Original scheduled time was 8 to 10 AM, because of some accident they asked to reschedule it 1 to 4 PM. They came by 5:30. (A different engineer came)
2. They didn't follow any proper checklist to do the inspection. They did a very random, high level inspection (nothing in detail). (Not worth paying for the premium plan)
3. I had to show them the checklist to make them go into more detail. I literally had to ask them about each part.
4. They said they will give me a free car diagnosis when I'm already paid for it.
5. Instead of 2 to 3 hours of inspection. They finished it in around 20 mins and then I had to force him to go into more detail, then they spent around 45 mins in total.
6. Paint inspection done just by looking at it, but not using any proper tool.

Etc.

The inspection was not worth the money, most of it can be done by myself by just buying fault code reading tools from online. When I hire a professional, I expect detailed work.

The engineer was polite, also very friendly. Communication also was good. He also offered me a free brake fluid refilling when he saw the fluid was not full.

I feel like I shouldn’t have bought the premium plan, they would have done the same even with the basic plan. Wouldn’t recommend it. Read more

Mine was just a simple job - car check and diagnostics- but all went fine.

(I’m asked by the website to add more detail in order to submit the review, but I’m afraid there isn’t much more to say!)

My mechanic didn't reach the car seller shop in time. Booked slot was between 4pm and 6pm but he reached there at 05.50 as the shop's closing time is 6pm.But the Report given was good which was also delayed.

This person did not communicate with me after confirming the booking (I also paid a premium for the slot). I sent numerous messages (as did clickmechanic themselves when I let them know the issue) with no reply. He eventually replied saying his van had broken down in an area that had no signal, so couldn't do anything. He eventually responded and said he'd be with me between 10 and 12 the next morning. He did not arrive between these times either and eventually came later on that afternoon.
When the person arrived he could not speak or understand English, so explaining the issue to him was almost impossible. He ran a diagnostics check (basically plugged in his monitor into the car and showed me the results) but nothing related to the issue I had highlighted in my initial booking (the car's thermostat).
