Volkswagen Golf Standard Pre-purchase Inspection

Ollie failed to notice rear end of car is completely rusted after stressing to him that was my main concern and reason for the inspection, the report I got rightfully stated some issues with the car but just stated the fact it had been under sealed and no mention that the rear end of car has bad corrosion, so I went to view the car saw the rear under body rust and immediately left so a complete waste of money and a complete wasted journey. very disappointed

With regards to corrosion at the rear of the vehicle I fundamentally disagree. The rear of the vehicle is undersealed - on my report I stated the vehicle would benefit from corrosion removal and protection to the front as well. I commented that the surface corrosion present on the underside of the vehicle was not a concern as it does not affect the structural integrity of the components at the time of inspection.
Again, I am sorry to hear you are not happy with the service provided, however I do feel my report is an accurate representation of the vehicle.

Ollie was outstanding. Arrived when he said he would, friendly & happy even in the cold conditions, we discussed the job, even the pets got on with him including our usually grumpy dog. If I could put 6 stars out of 5 I would.
Works completed in the time estimated while I was running around after a youngster.
Not only would I recommend, I happily and actively promote Ollie.

Apart from getting to the seller over two hours late the rest of the service was excellent. Ollie knew what he was talking about and he communicated well which made me feel confident in his opinion.

With regards to punctuality I think there must have been some sort of miscommunication - the booking was showing to me as arrival time between 8-10am to which I arrived at 10am.
