In a word - superb! Joe arrived when promised (~9am), took away the car, made a full and spot-on repair and brought back the car (~12 noon). Everything working and at a fair price. In our brief meetings Joe was friendly, articulate, and clearly knowledgeable - could not recommend him more strongly.

Never met Joe as he inspected the vehicle whilst I was at work. We spoke on the phone instead. Joe came to inspect the vehicle which wouldn't start and after trying to start concluded that it was a starter motor (which was wrong), we spoke and he promissed to come back later in the day at 5pm to do more testing "to give a starter a hit with a hammer". I took half a day off work to return to see him, but he called later at around 4pm to tell me that he is not coming. He promissed to come next day. I took another full day off to meet him but he never showed up and never picked up the phone again or answered my text. Very disappointed. I understand that sometimes there are circumstances, but I wasted aot of time for the car mechanic who was pormissing to come and played hide and seek. I was in a pinch and needed to fix the vehicle before travelling abroad and Joe totally ruined all hopes of doing it promptly and timely. His conclusion that it was a starter motor was also completelly wrong as it wasn't. It was a simple fuse instead. I was charger 70smth pounds for this and it just feels like a scam. P.S. Joe was very good. He listened and responded well to questions. There was a problem with starting my car three days previously. We discussed all possible reasons and eliminated most of them.
