Jaguar XF Cancellation charge / diagnostic inspection (stripping brakes to find both callipers seized)

Yes he was helpful. I'm happy with knowing what the problem was. But not happy with the price he quoted. £645 was his price. I ended up getting my brother inlaw to do the same job. And I saved £200 in total on the brakepads, discs, and the calipers.

Thanks for review, please could I ask you to elaborate on the low star rankings?
After you amended the booking 4 times with address changes and extra parts, we sourced the parts as quick as we possibly could. We attended the vehicle and with an inspection found rear callipers to be seized, I then got your updated price to you as soon as I could (within 24hrs)!
As for the quote, please remember we use genuine quality parts with 12 months guarantee, Therefore our parts are not going to be the cheapest on the market, unfortunately I don’t control the prices of parts, I simply pass over the price to yourself, but please remember we still need to collect parts etc all costing money! As a business it wouldn’t work if we didn’t make a profit.

Please remember you are also paying for a trained professional to carry out the work to your vehicle!
I do feel this review is a little unfair as we arrived when we said we would, Carried out a vehicle inspection to a high standard and always had time to speak with you over the many phone calls.
I am sorry you’ve not had a great experience with us,But I’m sure in the future we can change this.. as you can see from our many reviews we strive for customer satisfaction.

Dylan carried out a thorough inspection and highlighted some defects which I used to negotiate a better price. Excellent follow up call to explain the report. Only 4 star fir punctuality but he did message and let me know he would be late due to heavy traffic. Excellent service
