He was booked for 8-10am and didn’t communicate with either me or the car dealer until after 11 that he was late and arriving closer to midday.

The work done however was good.

Jazz was very good. Very knowledgeable and work very professional. It was very useful to have the clutch done at home, and quickly as we needed the car.

Mechanic called me to check if he can attend the day before. But this wasn't possible. On the day of appointment, our chosen slot was 10am-12pm. He was late by 1.5 hours due to not finding the parts. The car (Toyota IQ 1.0 Automatic) is an import but if a mechanic accepts the job, then customer must be notified with expected time of arrival but I had to call time to time to find out his whereabouts.
The mechanic also didn't know which engine oil to use for the car which meant I had to research and text it to him.
At 12:25pm I called him to check his status, he was still in Woolwich which was 1 hour away! As a result we had to reschedule our plans as we specifically opted for a time slot.

During the work being carried out, he mentioned to me that "I needed to be patient" and at that point I was quite angry and had to have a straight chat with him that this is not a good customer service etiquette to tell customer to show patience when they were late by 1.5 hours with our plans had to be changed!

We have been using Click Mechanic for good 8 years, this was a unsatisfactory overall experience.

Though I was charged full amount, there should have been reduced price charged for the inconvenience. Read more
