My mechanic was not dean ! He was late I had to call to ask what is happening till I was told it's going to be after the time slot , I am not happy with how this service was dealt, mechanic has broken the part of hose from coolant, and he had told me he did it while he was having a look at the other parts , and told me I can't drive the car anymore because that part is broken, that had made my car undrivable had to call for a tow truck to take it to garage, and now I am stuck without my car for 4-5 working days as it's weekend and new years .
Why when the mechanic had gone without fixing the car or helping me take my car to the warehouse somewhere they could fix it for me.

Then he tried to wind up real quick and tells me he is not going to charge me for full service which I had initially booked or ULEZ which he had to go through while coming to mine for service booked, he then states he will only charge me for diagnostics.

I don't want to pay anything , rather than fixing my car he broke the part you can apparently only get directly from dealers.

Reply from Graeme:

Firstly can I say how disappointed I am to receive this review. I’m not sure who ‘Dean’ is and I have to say I struggled to make sense of a lot of what you wrote. The scenario you have suggested did not happen. I shall explain what actually happened during the appointment.
You called me at 9am to ask what time I would be arriving. I was scheduled to arrive between 8am-10am. I informed you I would be arriving by 9.45. There was a delay with my suppliers so I called you to inform you I would be 10 minutes late. I arrived at 10.09am.
I didn’t break anything on your car. The job was booked in by yourself for a radiator replacement.
Upon arrival I done my due diligence and quickly realised that you had misdiagnosed the fault on your car. I found the coolant leak and showed you exactly where the leak was which was nothing to do with the radiator it was the coolant pipe flange on the side of the cylinder head. You asked if I would be able to fix it and I said if the part is available locally then I could. The closest car spares shop was within the Ulez zone so I asked you if you would agree to cover the £12.50 charge as my van is not Ulez compliant to which you agreed. In the end I never made this charge to you anyway. After returning with the part I began removed the old unit. I quickly discovered that one of the bolts holding it on was missing up in further investigation I found that the bolt had been snapped off in the cylinder head which is most likely why you had the leak in the first place. I also noticed that the top pipe had snapped which is very common on this vehicle. I explained all of these issues to you and informed you that I was unable to carry on with the repair as the snapped bolt required removal which I could not carry out as I didn’t carry the necessary tools with me and that it also might require the cylinder head to be removed to complete the repair. You called a local garage while I was there and asked me if it would be ok to drive there. I advised against it as you had a coolant leak and suggested you use your AA/RAC service to take it to the garage. After this you told me that you had been driving the car for two months with no coolant so I would imagine that the head gasket has most likely blown.
Your version of events is very much distorted from the truth. I tried to help you but it seems that you are just looking for someone to blame for the issues with your vehicle and are not wanting to cover the cost of the repairs.
I hope you get the vehicle up and running again soon but I must reiterate that none of the issues with your vehicle are anything to do with what I did to your car. And the diagnostic fee, which you agreed to pay, is a standard charge when we come out and correctly diagnose a fault that the customer has misdiagnosed.
