Mechanic did not respond to my comms. Realised that I'd made a mistake with the booking so immediately contacted to change. Did not respond until I sent a chaser the next day. Asked for a more accurate approximation on the day to which he said yes. On the day I received no communication, I send a text 30 mins before the appointment asking what time he would be there as I live 20 mins from where the car was situated. Car was sold 30 mins into initial appointment time and I had still not heard from my mechanic. Upon telling him it had been sold he said he was on his way to the car. Its hard for me to verify this as he gave me no comms to say he was on his way despite saying he would do so.
I can't attest to the quality as he never did the work. However comms and punctuality were significantly below my expectations.

Hello,regarding the situation created, on your initiative the booking was transferred to another day.although I had other bookings scheduled that day, I understood the situation and did as you wanted.the message that I am on my way to the car was sent through the clik mechanik program.as far as I know, cancellation of the booking is done 24 hours before the scheduled time.I understand that you were charged and you are unhappy, but that should not allow you to leave wrong reviews.Thank you for your attention.
